Daily Devos #4

Sorry for not posting up a new Devotional. Anyway, i'm back in Kuching for the Destiny Conference. That's why i didn't update as i was busy with packing.

Well, let's stop dilly-dalying , today's devotional is based on Psalms 19:1-6

Psalm 19 For the director of music. A psalm of David. 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.

3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. [a]

4 Their voice [b] goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,

5 which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.

This scripture it talking about the creations of God giving back their beauty, all glory and honour back to God, Jesus Christ! In my devotional book, it says Albert Einstein was asked one day whether he believed in God. He said we are like a child in a library filled with books. Someone must have written those books. Though he didn't believe in Jesus Christ he understood the awesomeness of God's creation and is blessed by discovering some of life's theories and examples. But i dare say, you and I are smarter than Albert Einstein for believing in Jesus. Haha. The Psalmist wrote in such a way that all creations should point back to their creator as in John 1:3 said that all things were made through Christ, and without him nothing was made that was made.

Application: I think i can sum this into a question. As we are created by God, are we pointing to the one that created us? Truly in this time, we have to be Salt and Light to the world (hello vcf).

Prayer: Lord Jesus, i thank you for creating me, the one that you dearly love and you made me perfectly the way i am. I pray that o Lord that you help me to be a creation that always point back to you, my creator. In Jesus name i pray, Amen.
