Daniel showed me a video on how terrible macdonald's is . Here Take a look. I'm sure you'll be shocked. A 4 YEAR OLD MACDONALD HAMBURGER and yet its not deteriorating at all . Still PERFECT.
I'm guessing is that they used preservatives. Even then, think about the billions of people eating Macdonald's food right now. The cause for obesity(not for me though, I don't eat fast food regularly but i do eat sweets. Haha). For the fries, I'm guessing there must be SO MUCH OIL inside out the fries till water maybe is separated from the potatoes thus leaving an unsuitable environment for fungus or mildew to grow. That's like eating OIL with a crispiness to it.
They are many other people doing these experiments as well such as Doctor Morgan Spurlock. I have his VCD "super size me" which shows him going on a two week marathon eating anything but only Macdonalds and at the SUPER SIZE (usually obese ppl eat that much). Not only that he has to try at least once each of the food on the menu. Imagine not drinking water but soda. Crazy, ay? Sure enough, he gain weight and started to be fatigue, irregular breathing. This shows the bad thing about fast food. Haha. This is his "deteriorating" experiment for macdonalds food. I salute him because he also place a control experiment , normal burger and regular fries from a restaurant. As he went along, all the burgers and fries deteriorate except the macdonald fries. Even then, the BIG MAC only start to reput(malay for decompose) 5 weeks later. Imagine the preservatives. This is his video. Well, well, well...... So maybe this is why fast food is bad? Anyway, Daniel and I was wondering whether Malaysian Macdonald's are the same as the one overseas. So this few weeks or so, we're gonna do a test ourselves to prove whether Macdonald's in Malaysia are using excessive oils or preservatives. If it decompose, we can sigh happily. If is doesn't , we're gonna BOYCOTT Macdonald's food. Who knows what they use, Genetically modified food i guess? I'm not sure what we're using yet but i think i'll be doing the real food, as in unprocessed potato being fried and all. Good blogging material, ay? We must shoot a video of it. Haha
On a lighter side, Ng David is coming back TONIGHT. Yay! after about 5 years not meeting him, finally he come back to visit Kuching awhile. He was our good friend in Form 1 but he migrated to KL at the end of 2003. I wonder whether he has grown taller? How about his squeky voice? I can't imagine talking with a lower voice. Haha. Anyway , we'll meet tomorrow morning. Most probably Kelvin, Colin , and Ivan tan are coming along too. Yay!!!!
