~ Goodbye 2005 and Welcome 2006!! ~

In a blink of an eye one whole year has passed. As you grow up, time seems to catch up with you and time moves faster. How about you?
[mind wanders away to another fraction of galaxy]

As i see 2005 goes by, i tend to wander about my childhood memories. I can remember wanting the day to end quickly and time go faster so that i can have my school hols. But now it is just the opposite....I always think to myself that i haven't finish living to the fullest of year 2005!!!!
Well what can we do anyway.........(^.^)

2005 is indeed a year where i learn a lot of things especially in my life and also spiritually. I can say i improve a lot in those areas.

This year i also have a fair share of prophesies too. Not large ones but of course i have to be faithful in the small one first. This are some of them........
1)able to write songs
2)praying for others
3)prophetic gifts....

I was more sceptical about the last one because i'm not the really spiritual type(i think?). Well i donno. But God came true to me in this area. Many times this year i receive prophetic pictures mainly in my youth meeting. So i thought to myself, i can do it!!! I actually prayed about it during the leadership camp and God answered it. This will be one of my new years resolution.

And most of all i want to say a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!1

~Movies and Food~

AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.............
Just came back from the cinema just now with my brother and a good friend of mine, Jeremy Wang. On the way we fetch him. We had a good chat with one another.[ I sound so formal.......weird......:) ]. Hmmmmmmmmmm.........we reach the cinema at around 2.40 and quickly go and get our tickets at the counter as the show will start at 3.00 pm. I grab a box of popcorn and a drink and quickly head on to the cinema hall. Oh yah, did i mention the movie? No right? ummmm...we watch " Cheaper by the Dozen 2". I know it sounds cheap(Obviously) but it is really a good movie. Very hard to find good and clean movies nowadays. A very comical and funny show. It is about two families competiting with one another in every way mainly because the fathers are rivals since young. The children are actually not wanting to fight but because of their fathers they become fed up of the fathers's attitude. They are some romantic touches to this movie but maybe a little parental guidance might be good. But it is indeed very funny. [ why am i reviewing this movie, I should get paid]

Hartz was not that good today. Not very nice food served today but can say all of them are edible. Most of the time is catching up with Jeremy because we didn't meet each other for a long time..~~~~~~~~

I think i stop for today. I'm not commenting about the food because it's not that good.

~Leadership Camp~

Note: some paragraphs are taken my Jasmine blog as i'm lazy to type :)

I'm back from a most wonderful camp, or more accurately, retreat. Man we had such fun together. Everyone was crazy...hahah. Loaded with tricks, pranks, lame jokes and other cumb stuff..but at the same time God moved in such a powerful way. I can truly say that my life has been changed.

I really got tanned when i was in Santubong (scratch and peels skin). Actually was my fault really. I swan most of the afternoon. Anyway, upon the arrival at Santubong, I got the same roomates again from the Embacy Camp except Daniel Chong. I unpacked my stuff and got ready to swim. I was really angry with the management as he place our rooms at the second floor. ARGGGGGH really geram. Have to help the aunties to carry stuff summore. haih~

Went swimming for the whole afternoon. Got back at around 5.15 pm. I ate junk food while waiting for my turn to bath. After that, i went to Gladys's room to eat our dinner. We ate chicken stew. For some reason during the whole camp, that naughty Shawn(i think i spelt it right) Wong keep on smiling a "gayish",clown width creepy smile. It freaks me out even thinking about it.

Anyway our nite meeting started at around seven thirty. It was an awesome praise and worship as God's presence just filled the whole room. The message was very uplifting. I can really say Uncle Mervyn's message is ever improving because your faith is just lifted up when listening to him. Joshua also shared a bit of the past Embacy group which is G1(generation 1). The fire, zeal and etc....I was encouraged and somehow i began to feel the fire already. Later at the worship part, people began to receive the fire without laying of hands. Suddenly, i had a vision . I saw this torpedo full of fire went into my body. A rushing gush of fire went throughout my body that instance. I was fanning myself. I was so hot. I had the urged to pass the fire so i pass it on to daniel. He receive it and was shaking. It was an awesome nite.

The next day, we had our usual meeting in the morning. It was about visions. Very good topic.
I really learn a lot from it. But i was very geram with Shawn Wong. The "sinis" smile again. Arggggghhh.....WHY does he always disturb and sit nearby me? Besides that, he keep on pinching me and disturbing my bottle. I was angry so i pinched him back where the pain receptors are more at. Muahahaha. Science and brains.......kakakakakakakaka........

We had beef sandwiches for lunch. Right after that i went swimming. Siao arr me.......1.30 pm i went swimming till 5 ++. Had a good time of fun.

The night meeting was VERY VERY VERY AWESOME. I want to focus on it more. The presence of God was so real. The theme for that night was inner healing although Uncle merv wanted it so much to be fire and the river of God. I was already crying at the praise part because I felt God was in this room. Another vision came to me, I saw God in his kingly robe standing in the middle of the room with his hands wide open to receive us saying " reach out to me, reach out to me, i want to show my love towards you." I cried so much that nite. I felt the urged to to tell the people so i did. I cried when i said it. The whole room was crying went i said that word. Glory to God. After that most of the time was praying for people and sharing your testimony.

Another fun part...........

After d session dat nite we played around till 3.30 am. haha. It was Shaun Cheng's bday today and they sabor-ed him with peanut butter, kaya, lipstick and shaving cream and dumped him into the pool during midnite. Mosat of them went swimming at midnite when is was raining...Crazy people but i really wanted to join them. Problem is that Shawn wanted to throw me into the pool, so i was practically hiding in my room. Most of them enjoy the fun. I heard there was a embacy jiwang group(lovesick group)performance at aunty cynthia's room. Haih.....i missed out the fun....mebbe next time~

The next day, THE HORROR!!!!!!!!
PMR RESULTS!!!!!!!!
I was very anxious. I quickly ate breakfast at went swimming so that i can calm myself down. We were all waiting anxiouly by the pool . Daniel got straight a's and was thrown into the pool . Har har har...............I got mine after his and......
TENG TENG TENG.............
I got straight a's!!!!!!!glory to god.
But i wasn't thrown in because the surfboard was missing. hehehehehhehehehhehehe..........

Wad a weird camp.....................but fun too....... can't wait for next year........

WHEN GIVING A CUSTOMER BAD NEWS

Britons: I'm sorry, Sir, but we don't seem to have the sweater you want in your size, but if you give me a moment, I can call the other outlets for you.

Malaysians: No Stock.

RETURNING A CALL

Britons: Hello, this is John Smith. Did anyone page for me a few moments ago?

Malaysians: (pointing to the door) can ar?

WHEN ENTERTAINING

Britons: Please make yourself right at home.

Malaysians: Don't be shy, lah!

WHEN DOUBTING SOMEONE

Britons:: Err. Tom, I have to stop you there. I understand where you're coming from, but I really have to disagree with what you said about the issue.

Malaysians: You mad, ah?

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE TO LOWER THEIR VOICE.

Britons: Excuse me, but could you please ! lower your voice, I'm trying to concentrate over here.

Malaysians:Shaddap lah!

WHEN ASKING SOMEONE IF HE/SHE KNOWS YOU.

Britons: Excuse me, but I noticed you staring at me for some time. Do I know you?

Malaysians: See what, see what?

WHEN ASSESSING A TIGHT SITUATION.

God and the Geese?

A nice Christmas story...

There was once a man who didn't believe in God, and he didn't hesitate to let others know how he felt about religion and religious holidays. His wife, however, did believe, and she raised their children to also have faith in God and Jesus, despite his disparaging comments. One snowy Eve, his wife was taking their children to service in

the farm community in which they lived. They were to talk about Jesus' birth. She asked him to come, but he refused.

"That story is nonsense!" he said. "Why would God lower Himself to come to Earth as a man? That's ridiculous!"

So she and the children left, and he stayed home. A while later, the winds grew stronger and the snow turned into a blizzard. As the man looked out the window, all he saw was a blinding snowstorm. He sat down to relax before the fire for the evening. Then he heard a loud thump. Something had! hit the window. He looked out, but couldn't see more than a few feet. When the snow let up a little, he ventured outside to see what could have been beating on his window.

In the field near his house he saw a flock of wild geese. Apparently they had been flying south for the winter when they got caught in the snowstorm and couldn't go on. They were lost and stranded on his farm, with no food or shelter. They just flapped their wings and flew around the field in low circles, blindly and aimlessly. A couple of them had flown into his window, it seemed.

The man felt sorry for the geese and wanted to help them. The barn would be a great place for them to stay, he thought. It's warm and safe; surely they could spend the night and wait out the storm. So he walked over to the barn and opened the doors wide, then watched and waited, hoping they would notice the open barn and go inside.

But the geese just fluttered around aimlessly and didn't seem to notice the barn or realize what it could mean for them. The man tried to get their attention, but that just seemed to scare them, and they moved further away. He went into the house and came with some bread, broke it up, and made a bread crumb trail leading to the barn. They still didn't catch on.

Now he was getting frustrated. He got behind them and tried to shoo them toward the barn, but they only got more scared and scattered in every direction except toward the barn. Nothing he did could get them to go into the barn where they would be warm and safe.

"Why don't they follow me?" he exclaimed. "Can't they see this is the only place where they can survive the storm?"

He thought for a moment and realized that they just wouldn't follow a human. "If only I were a goose, then I could save them," he said out loud. Then he had an idea. He went into barn, got one of his own geese, and carried it in his arms as he circled around behind the flock of wild geese.

He then released it. His goose flew through the flock and straight into the barn -- and one-by-one, the other geese followed it to safety.

He stood silently for a moment as the words he had spoken a few minutes earlier replayed in his mind: "If only I were a goose, then I could save them!" Then he thought about what he had said to his wife earlier. "Why would God want to be like us? That's ridiculous!"

Suddenly it all made sense. That is what God had done. We were like the geese--blind, lost, perishing. God had His Son become like us so He could show us the way and save us.

As the winds and blinding snow died down, his soul became quiet and pondered this wonderful thought. Suddenly he understood why Christ had come. Years of doubt and disbelief vanished with the passing storm. He fell to his knees in the snow, and prayed his first prayer:

"Thank You, God, for coming in human form to get me out of the storm!"

Finally.................( ^ .^ )

Hello everybody.....finally found some time to write on my blog. Been a very tiring month for me and Embacy(abbreviation for Emmanuel Baptist Church Youths). The latest camp we had, was our annual youth camp which started on the 7th of December to the 10th of December. The theme for the camp was " D' Encounter ". Wilson who is our youth leader got the word from God about this theme. It is also very relevant to our youths in the world because they are searching for something real and a encounter with someone which is God himself.

Day 1

I got up early as i need to prepare myself for the praise and worship as a musician. I reached church at about 7.15 am. The crowd began to came about 8.15 am. I chattered with a few friends while waiting for the camp to start. After that, the welcoming speech....camp rules...bla bla bla........Usual stuff. Then we had the praise and worship. It was a wonderful worship. I think some of the newcomers look pretty kekok. I don't blame them. I enjoy myself playing the keyboard to praise God. We had Pastor Kueh to preach that morning. He'll be preaching for all the mornings except the last day. According to what he say, he'll be teaching the theological sense of an encounter with God and Uncle Mervyn would be bringing us to the spiritual encounter with God. Anyway i can't really learn much from Pastor Kueh as his teaching is very monotonous and i felt sleepy. Not only me but majority of the youths felt the same way. Please pardon me Pastor. Well i did learn something from him anyway. A lot of the blibical truths. At least half a loaf is better than none right people? We had our lunch at 12.00-1.00 pm. We ate chicken rice. Oh yah before that we played the game angels and mortals. My mortal was David Chung(i'm his angels). The game is to treat him/her nicely till the end of the camp when u have the time to reveal urself to ur mortal. Pretty fun anyway.......We had games in the afternoon. You know lar, the radical youths always win wan.......Not fair! Hmmmph.....we only win once for the mummy game because of my cute sister........
Here are the list of the games:
-Cheer for your group
-Mummy game
-bible knowledge
-water gurgling game.....

I think liddat nia the games...............

to be continued...............

(part 2)

That night the meeting was awesome. Although i was playing the keyboard, i could felt the presence of God flowing upon me. A simple word about baptism was given by Uncle Mervyn. He didn't want to speak that much as he wants to allow the Holy Spirit to move in the church. That night only one person went for baptism which was Daniel Tan. I was very encourage to see him change from a disobedient person to a person who wants to know more about christ. It is a real ENCOUNTER with God. We went downstairs to witness the baptism service. As Daniel went into the pool and up again, he felt the presence of God so strongly. He was crying the pool. Amazingly, he was thrown into the pool again by the power of God just like my older brother last two years. Uncle Mervyn then quickly ask us to go upstairs and just worship God as he sense that the presence of God is strong. I felt shaky as i played the keyboard becoz of the power that flowed down from God. People just slain under the power of God. About six to seven of them are from Trinity Methodist Church and they said it is the first time they were slain under the power of God. GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!!!
I then went back and did some last minute minor packing(because we're leaving for Santubong the next day)

Day 2

I reached the church at about 8.30 am. I thought that i will be late but anyway God help me reach there on time. We praise and worship God full of zeal that day. That day, Pastor preach on the names of God. At least better now. But i can't quite remember all becoz there are so many of them. We ate a good meal and went shopping for FOOD! As u might guess lar. Tradition for many years already. We'll have a party at the last night of the camp. Bought stuff for my mortal too.Went back around 12.45 pm to wait for the bus. The bus reach about 1.00 pm . We boarded the bus and left for Santubong at around 1.17 pm and reach Santubong at 2.30.

The night meeting was quite brief. God decide to move and touch several people. Amazingly when Wilson prophesied that some people are gonna dance, Charissa started to dance . Shocking and ironic isn't it. I didn't wanted to be distracted so i concentrated and slowly began to receive some fire from God. My hands were burning. The meeting lasted till 10++........

DAy3~

The morning was as usual. I played the keyboard. This time the preaching of God was much better. Not so boring.
-lunch
-swimming and games
-rest
-dinner

Now for the fun part. God moved in a strong way last night. My whole body was on fire. Besides that, i received new wine and began to laugh for a long time. Infectious really.......Really an encounter with God. Felt so angelic.

So sorry it is so short.................
