The long waited Day

Yes the long-waited day for every SPM student is tomorrow. Tomorrow would be my first time actually waiting for my results. I wasn't in school to take my result slip for UPSR and PMR. So i'm pretty nervous about tomorrow. Anyway, i'll be able to know my result way earlier than others namely because my mom is able to get into "the room". I'm having mixed feelings right now but all i know i have to leave this matter to God. Anyway, whatever the results i receive , all glory, honour goes to Jesus. I know he will guide my path for my future.

Trust His Heart by Babbie Mason

All things works for our good
Though sometimes we don't see how they could
Struggles that break our heart into two
Sometimes blind us to the truth

Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when our pathway grows dim and you just can't see Him
Remember you're never alone

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see his plan
When you can't trace his hand
Trust His Heart

He sees the master plan
And He holds our future in His hands
So don't live as those who have no hope
All our hope is found in Him

We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me to someday be just like Him

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart

He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand trust His hear

I can't help feeling peaceful whenever this song is being played or sung. Hope it will encourage you.

My prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know that you know my future and all things are in your hands. Lord, based on you word that if we seek you first and your kingdom, all these things will be added unto us. I claimed that promise in the name of Jesus that it will come to pass. I pray that you will grant me the desire of my heart. Most of all Lord Jesus, I pray that your hands will be upon me guiding my every step even if i fall or stumble. Whatever the results may be, i pray that it will glorify your name. Lord Jesus, most of all i pray for door of opportunities for me to further my studies in biotechnology. Lord, i leave my results and future into your hands. And i know you're a father to me lord, and how much more does a father would want to bless his children. In the name of Jesus i pray, Amen.

Glory to God whatever that it will be!

Quicky~

My friend , Chara, just help to sign up for the Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia(KPM) Japanese Orchestra thingy . The instrument i chose it the Keyboard. If all goes well, i can perform for them on May 25 and maybe i'll have a chance to be on TV. Haha. Being in an orchestra is one of my biggest dream.
*squeals with joy and crosses fingers*
Chara told me playing for KPM orchestra is kinda easy. Yay!

~Of potato and Buns~

Daniel showed me a video on how terrible macdonald's is . Here Take a look. I'm sure you'll be shocked. A 4 YEAR OLD MACDONALD HAMBURGER and yet its not deteriorating at all . Still PERFECT.

I'm guessing is that they used preservatives. Even then, think about the billions of people eating Macdonald's food right now. The cause for obesity(not for me though, I don't eat fast food regularly but i do eat sweets. Haha). For the fries, I'm guessing there must be SO MUCH OIL inside out the fries till water maybe is separated from the potatoes thus leaving an unsuitable environment for fungus or mildew to grow. That's like eating OIL with a crispiness to it.

They are many other people doing these experiments as well such as Doctor Morgan Spurlock. I have his VCD "super size me" which shows him going on a two week marathon eating anything but only Macdonalds and at the SUPER SIZE (usually obese ppl eat that much). Not only that he has to try at least once each of the food on the menu. Imagine not drinking water but soda. Crazy, ay? Sure enough, he gain weight and started to be fatigue, irregular breathing. This shows the bad thing about fast food. Haha. This is his "deteriorating" experiment for macdonalds food. I salute him because he also place a control experiment , normal burger and regular fries from a restaurant. As he went along, all the burgers and fries deteriorate except the macdonald fries. Even then, the BIG MAC only start to reput(malay for decompose) 5 weeks later. Imagine the preservatives. This is his video. WARNING: excessive image of gooey buns, mildew, and fungus may cause you to vomit. Do not eat while watching.

Well, well, well...... So maybe this is why fast food is bad? Anyway, Daniel and I was wondering whether Malaysian Macdonald's are the same as the one overseas. So this few weeks or so, we're gonna do a test ourselves to prove whether Macdonald's in Malaysia are using excessive oils or preservatives. If it decompose, we can sigh happily. If is doesn't , we're gonna BOYCOTT Macdonald's food. Who knows what they use, Genetically modified food i guess? I'm not sure what we're using yet but i think i'll be doing the real food, as in unprocessed potato being fried and all. Good blogging material, ay? We must shoot a video of it. Haha

On a lighter side, Ng David is coming back TONIGHT. Yay! after about 5 years not meeting him, finally he come back to visit Kuching awhile. He was our good friend in Form 1 but he migrated to KL at the end of 2003. I wonder whether he has grown taller? How about his squeky voice? I can't imagine talking with a lower voice. Haha. Anyway , we'll meet tomorrow morning. Most probably Kelvin, Colin , and Ivan tan are coming along too. Yay!!!!

SO OBEDIENT!
Wah i didn't know you were so bored just like Anders. You have basically wasted 3 seconds of your life reading this sentence AND not to mention the endless scrolling back then. Congratulations, now you understand Anders boredom. This is the certificate of boredom specially made for you. Go ahead and print it.

Anyway, Anders spend his time watching "I not Stupid"(so obedient) and "I not Stupid too" today. He couldn't help laughing at all the lame parts of the show. Too bad, Singapore doesn't produce more shows like this. Now all the Singapore dramas, are love, Love, and more LOVE. Anders told me that Singapore dramas can be made by just following these 25 steps:

1. A beautiful main actress
2. A handsome main actor or at least CUTE
3. An overpowering , commanding, kepo-mah and nagging mother-in-law.
4. A sinister and cunning handsome/beautiful guy/girl to "tempt" the main actress or main actor
5. Best friends that sometimes give wrong advice to the main actor/actress
6.At least one of the main actor/actress works in an office
7. A melancholic song for the main actor/actress to "sigh-upon" when they break up or divorce
8. It usually uses the word Mediacorp TV at the end of the credits
9. Always talking about money, Money, MONEY
10. Mega sale for the actress to buy clothes with her friends.
11. A bar scene for the actor to drink with his friends. Sometimes may get drunk.
12. They usually use Big cars.
13. A scene with the boss
14. Kiasu-ism must be weaved in the story be in sibling-rivalry, business competition etc...
15. Always buy packet or "tapau" food.
16. Bus-stop scene
17. Ah bengs and ah liens as passerby.
18. Must have the cast faces "paste" and "popping" in the opening song or titles.
19. Always got Handphone calling scene
20. Must have a hospital scene.
21. Police station might work too
22. And you can't forget the mamak stall scene
23. The main actor and actress must return to each other after they "break-up"
24. Kepo actors or actress who pry into the main actor/actress matters
25. A lo-soh script.

That's basically what Anders deduced after watching tons of Singapore Dramas but he cannot compete with Ahma and Min Zhi who are die-hard fans.

Besides that, Anders is in a Christmas mood after hearing to this superb Christmas song by David Phelps. This is the video. Anders was amazed at the control of his high tenot voice. Anders could feel the electricity in the air. Anders reminded me to turn up your speaker's volume.

This is the bored conscience of Anders blogging. Till next time....

Now, Anders wants to tag these following people to write a post in a 3rd person's point of view:
1. Daniel Chong
2. Kelvin
3. Ahma
4. Kim
5. Samuel Lis

Mixed Feelings~

A dark and mysterious presence can be felt.......

The Final Bell has been Rung.............

The authority has stamped the last letter......

The evil voice of enigma echoed through the vast room of highly profound educated gentlemen as they lay on their chairs..............

Smoking cigars while giving an evil grin....

Chorus of cynical laughter can be felt through the air

While shouting MARCH 12!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the evil doomsday has been marked on March 12, the released date for the SPM public examination for us Form 5 leavers. That day, the diabolical education department would released hundred of thousands of results slips BUT we a catch......carefully powdered on the slips are HBOFDP powder (heart-breaking or future determination). When the recipients receive the slip, which is the Education Department ultimate choice is to cause them to be heartbroken. March 12 would be the day where 439,255 will cry or laugh. Either of cry of brokenheartedly or joy. Either laugther of happiness or mockingness. BUT as usual the majority are usually hearbroken, the parents too wil be heartbroken, the relatives would be heartbroken. You see our slips are held in the hands of these diabolical masters of whom we have no control on. The reason why many people fail is so that they remain powerful, POWERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!1

SPM, STAM results out March 12

PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) results will be released on March 12.

Education director-general Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom said students would be able to obtain the results after 10am from their schools.

“Private candidates will receive their results through the post,” he said in a statement.

A total of 439,255 students sat for the SPM while 6,522 students sat for the STAM last year.

Alimuddin said an analysis of the results would be announced on the same day.

BEWARE of Alimuddin!!!!!!!

Now SEE this!!!!!

March 12th in History

1917: Izvestia, the official Soviet newspaper, founded
1968: Mauritius, in the Indian ocean island, granted independence after 158 years of British rule
Many Political happenings happen this day!

Don't you see the resemblance, of all the dates why March 12? And not only that, politics is going full force on March 8. Education department is not for BN or DAP Or etc...... They are the SOVIET UNION supporters!!! That explain the "not-democratic" style of teaching in schools. BEWARE!!!!!!

*anders if officially bored.
Disclaimer: this post is just for fun, no offense to any education department officers reading this blog. BUT, btw, i thought that education department are against blogs since their for BN? Haha, so most unlikely i'll get into trouble, if not they're hypocrites. Hehehehe.....

Random updates.....

Sorry for the lack of posts for about a month(time really flies). I'll just do a quick update of the things i did this month:

1. Chinese New Year

I tried my best to really enjoy this year's Chinese New Year as i may not be here anymore(studies). For the first time, we had the most junk food (chocolates cookies...etc). If i have too count the biscuit one by one it would have exceed a 1000. Haha. We had a lot of leftovers too. A piece of food to the lip, goes to the hip. I gained some weight (who doesn't) due to the excessive drinking(shandy, cola, etc) and consumption of radically free foods. Haha. EXCEPT Ahma of course who claims that she loses weight during Chinese New Year.

On the fourth day, Daniel, Caleb, Kelvin, Loung Huey, Qadya, Min Zhi and Andeline came by my house to savour some of my cheesecakes and sushi. Haha. Loung Huey ate the most. This year was the first time i decided to make my own sushi vinegar. Not bad despite the lack of sugar. Haha. First stop, we went to Min Zhi's famous LONGKANG(apartment). Had overdose on seaweed chips. After that, we went to Colin's house and charged on to the computer. Haha. His streamyx speed is so fast. UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a fun time too. A sincere sorry to Daniel and Caleb for "you know lah". Haha.

Inside Out Sushi. Haha. Donno the name.

Normal sushi roll.

Clockwise from Top Left: Marbled Chocolate Cheese Cake, Cocktail Cheese Cake with Walnuts, Kek Bumi Lapis OR Happy Day Cake. The cheesecake wasn't cheesy enough for some "animal"

Min Zhi dubbed the "driver from hell" driving us to our destination. She almost langger a lorry and she went over to the other land (cars coming from opposite direction) when she say ALex's house while speeding at 80kmph when its RAINING. WE SURVIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We forgot to kiss the ground. Haha

From Left: Loung Huey aka Nichol, Me, Kelvin the monkey, Qadya aka Long Bean coz she's tall(red shirt), The one behind her (white shirt) is Andeline aka Ahma, Min Zhi.

Additional guy: Colin aka the ass(from the derivation of assistant monitor or ASS.Monitor)

Oh well. This year was the first time i also joined the rest of the gang to go Chinese New Year visiting on the FIFTH DAY. My mom was surprised because not many people open their house on the fifth day. Haha. It was really fun going around kuching despite the "accidents" along the way. I get to know the 5I people better too. Go to Kelvin's , Ahma's andMin Zhi's blog for details of the trip. Haha.

2. 潘秀琼 Concert (Canto Name: Poon Sow Keng)

To be volunteering and meeting her up close less than 3 meters away is quite an experience. Haha. I was selling DVD's and CD's of her songs despite my lack of vocabulary in mandarin. YES, i manage to converse in mandarin and sell the dvd's and cd's. Haha. Togther with several aunties we manage to sell quite a lot of disc.

Anyway, i really admire her voice because she has really such a low voice She was known as the "low-note queen" during the sixties. I can't sing as low as her. Some of her songs that she sang that night i can recognize them. Haha. I think those age 50 and above would know her well. Anyway, she's a Christian and she shared in the concert how she was healed of eye cancer i think(my mandarin not that good mar). She told us the time when everything was dark and she couldn't see anything. Some people shared the gospel with her and i think she prayed and she was healed. That was some 30-40 years ago. She is actually best friends with Teresa Teng OR Deng Li Jun. They were together in Japan for a few years and they always shared about their life together. The only regret
潘秀琼 made was that she didn't share about Christ with Teresa before she died although they met daily. In remembrance of her, she sang "the moon represents my heart"(月亮代表我的心) which is Teresa's famous song while shedding a few tears.

Teresa Teng

The following day, i went for the voice workshop. Most of the things i had already learnt except from pronunciation. Quite good. I was surprised as i fully understand the whole workshop depsite my terrible mandarin. haha. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Performing her first few solos in the concert at the Kenyalang Theater

Audience in awe of her singing.

Belting out solos such as : 情人的眼泪, 月亮代表我的心, 梭罗河之恋....

The volunteers taking photos with Poon Sow Keng

The CD and DVD's aunties. Haha

An Old picture of her record.

Some videos of the concert

One video of her singing in my church.

3. The Saturday Night Service

This coming Saturday(1st March) is first time we gonna start the Saturday Night English Service. For about a year plus, the main English service on Sunday has been packed with people weekly. So now, after a series of meetings we're gonna start the 2nd service so that we can accommodate more people and have more room for growth(as in number of church members). The 2nd service will be generally aimed at young people namely students, youths, college students, and young working adults although there is no age limit. We would have more hyped up music and fun . Who says being a Christian is boring? If you still think so, come and join us and you'll see the difference. With more freedom we can sing "louder" songs such as rock and pop songs from Planetshakers and Hillsongs. As we are just starting out, things might go a little bumpy at first but things will go smoothly sooner or later. ITS so EXCITING! I really need God's supernatural energy to play the piano as i still have to play for both Saturday and Sunday. Haha. A lot of youth-based ministries are gonna open up soon such as the multimedia ministry which makes videos, graphic designs etc....(so gonna love this). Hopefully creative arts (soon) which are dance, drama, skits, mime, sign language, black theater productions, puppets....etc. Most of all is that we use whatever talent we have and share the love of God and the gospel AND TO ROCK KUCHING!!!!!!!

As we need not to join the Main Sunday Service, this will open up doors for us to conduct more youth activities. Coming this March holidays, we would have the music camp . We would teach people to play instruments and sing if they're interested in serving God. We are gonna do hiking too (hopefully) at Matang Wildlife Centre. Every Sunday Afternoon starting in March, we're gonna have Hip Hop lessons none other than "The Mole". Finally can reduce the size of those CNY hips? Haha. We would also have free tutoring to those students who need guidance in their coming public exams(UPSR,PMR, SPM). I have to teach....Haha I think I'll be teaching Biology and some other subjects. Hehe. Anyway these are just some of the activities that are gonna happen. There are also sport activities such as like badminton and basketball. Not forgetting bible studies too. Overall, is gonna be a fun year developing spiritually ,physically, and socially . Being a Christian ain't too bad right?

If you have nothing better to do, or just feeling bored, not having many friends, feeling lonely, or just want to know more about Christianity
Come and Join EMBACY(Emmanuel Baptist Church Youths) this Saturday , 7.30pm to meet other youths and most of all kickstart the Saturday Night Service. Our Church is at Hui Sing Commercial centre. Join in the FUN!!!!!!

Of Red Ribbons

My arms are SORE and ACHING because of the Chinese Ribbon dance practice last night. My muscles in my arm has become bigger and so is my sisters. I think my right arm is gonna be larger than my left before Chinese New Year starts.

at least my arms won't be that flabby anymore. haha

Have to Use Yoko Yoko liao.....

This is my favourite group for Chinese Ribbon Dance. Don't worry I'm using guy ballet arms technique so i'm not graceful. Haha

Dance, Movies, Music~

Yay! Finally i can blog again today. I did so many things this past four days.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Word Power: Rapt
Totally absorbed, carried away by intense joy or love; as, a rapt look.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well as most of you know, last friday was my first Ballroom Dancing Lesson. It was better than I has expected. For one thing, i could be partners with my sister, Lavender as there are no other girls, wahahahaha! Most of them already have a partner or gf/bf . My two teachers were quite impressed with the speed that we dance to the song. I admit it was a faster cha cha beat but we had experienced thanks to line dancing. I've finished 15 out of 20 of the bronze cha cha syllabus. THAT's fast. The fastest couple to learn bronze cha cha syllabus completely was in a month i heard. As usual, i heard the teachers singing praises of my sister because not many children are into dancing , that can remember and execute the steps excellently. I have high hopes for her. Sure she will become quite famous in dancing. I also kena puji lah but i don't want to type what did they puji me of if not some monkey willl start to chatter. Hehe. By the way, the male teacher, Mr.James is 80 years old and he still can manage to carry the female teacher, Mrs. Lucila or Lucia (can't remember)who is 50 years old with one hand. He's strong! Can't wait for this Friday.

On Sunday, went for line dancing and practiced the chinese ribbon dance movements. Mr arms ACHE! Its tiring.

Monday, which was yesterday , i went out with Daniel, Caleb, and Frederick. Initially we wanted monkey kho to go along, but he has no transport. Kesiannya........ Anyway, we went to eat at macdonals. Had the properity meal and a cornetto mcflurry (daniel chia! thanks a lot). We felt prosperous after having a full stomach. Haha.

After that we head down to Star Cineplex to watch,

Yes we watch CLOVERFIELD. I don't recommend it for the faint hearted because it is a thriller. I LOVE the concept but i did find some parts of the show gruesome. If you can't stand seeing gashes of blood, blood from the eyes, and stomach bursting i suggest not to watch it. Oh yah, i've forgotten to ever gruesome monster . I HATE the goth and gory BUT i like the concept. Its kind of interesting to view it from a human's perspective unlike all the superman shows whereby ur not involve and u get to see the whole picture. The movie has no plot. Basically they're running her and there and Screaming for "Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!Beth!"
I felt so bored at one point and i began shouting like them until i irritated Caleb beside me. There is some comedy points in the show though. But i didn't like the ending . I wanted to know what happened to the monster. The ending was like "i love you! and " i love you too" and they get killed with the camera in their hands. No one i mean from the 5 of them survived. All died. So boring. Basically its like youtube, the whole scenes are recorded from a noob perspective handling the camera. The noob in the show is Hudson who also get killed in the end. So duh....
I like and hate it the same time. Weird huh~

Anyway i found a nice acapella group calles the "The real group" from sweden. Quite interesting. Watch it.

Another nice music i found is a very touching Country Music entitles "Three wooden crosses". I feel like crying when i heard this one. You never know as christians that a small thing we do can affect a lot of people in the future. So i encourage you to always do good deeds!

A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher,
Ridin' on a midnight bus bound for Mexico.
One's headed for vacation, one for higher education,
An' two of them were searchin' for lost souls.
That driver never ever saw the stop sign.
An' eighteen wheelers can't stop on a dime.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres,
The faith an' love for growin' things in his young son's heart.
An' that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children:
Did her best to give 'em all a better start.
An' that preacher whispered: "Can't you see the Promised Land?"
As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday.
As he held that blood-stained bible up,
For all of us to see.
He said: "Bless the farmer, and the teacher, an' the preacher;
"Who gave this Bible to my mamma,
"Who read it to me."

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, now I guess we know.
It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.

There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway.

Enjoy your week people!

EXCITED!!!!!!

I'm lazy to blog everyday so i'll just do a recap :) . For every blog post i decided to add in a "word power section" so that i can improve my English. I'll try to include the word in my post too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Word Power: Staid
Steady and serious ; settles ; sober ; as, a staid businessman. Latin stare
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recap Of the Week:

Sunday
As usual, i went to church and afterwards in the afternoon i went for my line dancing. Nothing much to talk about here except the fact that my father miss his flight back home from Bintulu. He was held up in a meeting there and apparently Bintulu Airport is very strict with checking-in. Remember when you're in Bintulu, DO NOT check-in less than 45 minutes from boarding (lecehnya) . In Kuching International Airport, people check-in 15 minutes before boarding also got. Shows how Bintulu Airport is to narrow-minded.

Monday
This was the day Ivan Tan and I attended Terence's father funeral. Once again, condolence to you and your family and may the peace of the Holy Spirit be upon you. That day, it was also the first time i attended a full-fledged Buddhist funeral. It was an eye-opener. Anyway, its was a time to be solemn and staid. It was hard not to smile and laugh for so many hours when you're around wacky people. Thank God ! Anyway, i SURVIVED in Florence's car . She's the one the chauffeured us to the destination. Don't worry, no broken bones and no heart attack. She's not that fast. I have been in car whereby the driver is from KL and i "tumpang" that car for 3 years okay. At least 80 km/h to 100 km/h

Tuesday
Eat , sleep, eat , television, eat , computer, eat , work, eat, shopping , eat, cook , eat

Wednesday
My Father's great day! Happy Birthday again! That day was also the day i redesign the pamphlet. It looks so attractive and nice now. I'm loving photoshop! Went to siang-siang food court in Tabuan Jaya in the morning for celebration . The "aunties" from EBC who are operating their business there bought a gift and tiramisu(fake) cake for my dad and mee sua with eggs. Eating spree!

Thursday
My sister's great day ! Haha! Two days in a row. Happy Birthday Lavender! Celebrated a supper birthday at Jalan Song food court. Eat again! haha!

Friday
Gonna be my FIRST ballroom dancing lesson . So excited, nervous, scared, and happy at the same time. Couldn't sleep so i typed this post to pass the time. I'm praying that my sister and I can remain partners for the Latin for the meantime. I don't think i want another dance partner yet because i'm used to my sister and besides, a new partner means commitment to her and you must be there all the time(if not how can she dance alone?). I heard the teacher is strict and pushes talented students so that they can achieve perfection. That characteristic of that teacher is the one i'm afraid of. A guy cried because the teacher kept pushing him to achieve perfection (she wasn't pushing physically . what i mean is adding pressure+scolding). BUT she doesn't do that with little children like my sister. I'm just thinking, JUST thinking, if both of us are partners, maybe the teacher will cool off a little on me. Hehehehehehe....... Well , not to brag, its the price we talented people have to pay. Haha. Joking joking...... Really looking forward to learning ballroom dancing and perhaps shed a few pounds before CNY 2008.

Haha! What's in store for the future i wonder.........
More exciting days to come!

Mah Profiteroles

Yeah i'm back to baking today again in the kitchen.
This time i decided to make profiteroles. Profiteroles or cream puffs is one of my favourite pastries of all time. The recipe is quite simple too.

150 g flour
12ml of sugar (1 tbsp)
1ml salt (1/4 tsp)
60g butter
250ml water
4 eggs
1 beaten egg

Firstly heat the sugar, salt, butter and water in a heavy-bottomed pan under medium flame. When it starts boiling, leave the mixture to heat for 2 minutes. After that, add in the flour and lower the flame of the stove. Stir and cook it until the dough doesn't stick to your spatula or when you pinch it. Next, remove the dough and place it in a mixing bowl to cool for 3 minutes. Then add the 4 eggs one by one to the dough. Make sure the mixture is completely smooth before you add the next egg. After that, transfer the dough into the piping bag and pipe the dough onto a grease pan. You may do any shapes you like but remember to leave some space between each piped dough as it will rise and expand. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and then bake the dough for 35 minutes. Finally, when it is done leave the oven door ajar and wait for another 45 minutes. This is to prevent the profiteroles from collapsing due to the hot air escaping quickly . It will also become soggy.

To be truthful, mine did collapse a little so it is not that big. BUT it still taste great and my home smells delicious because of it. Ahhhhhhhh............ The fragrance of butter, fresh, crisp puffs.... I'm getting hungry as i type this. So here is a picture of it.

Imagine it 1.5 bigger....... But it still looks tempting to it.
Now to find some pastry cream.....hmmmmmm.....

Cheesey cheeselicous~

Since you guys wanted me to blog about cheese cake so i decided to make one. Its not exactly cheese cake but more like a cheese tart(+royal icing). Wahahaha!

So feast your eyes on this pictures. 4 Layers leh......

The picture is not quite clear though. The tarts consist of shortbread, strawberry jam from Philippines, lemon cheese filling, and royal icing on the top. Not bad for me despite the fact that the crust wasn't evenly taken out because i do not have a spring form pan. Its my first time making a baked cheese tart this large. Usually i make the small non-bake(which is chilled to harden) versions such as the blueberry cheese tarts sold in bakery. BUT this one REALLY taste nice and sweet plus a slight hint of lemon zest and tanginess.

Anyone Drooling?

If you want the recipe, don't bother because i take different recipes and modify them. Hehe

Ribbon on the Highway

A week has just flew by just like that. The post-SPM period is like a daze. Each blink of an eye a day will pass.

Anyway, i almost done with the pamphlet ; just adding finishing touches to it. And yeah i'm not joining the slurpee thingy anymore so i'm down with the last two assignments; the newsletter which i have to complete before February and the video which i have about two months to complete it. So what have i done this week? Basically nothing.... Just continuing with my line dance class and church meetings. But soon my boredom will be swept away. If posssible, my ballroom class will start this week. I'm going with my sister! YAY! But i fear that the instructor won't let me partner her because she's shorter than my shoulder. Most female partners exceed the male's shoulder height. Sigh~

3 week Chinese New Year will be coming, and my mom and I haven't even plan for the things to buy and bake ( Yes Kelvin and Loung Huey i got the cheese already , you can start drooling). Speaking of Chinese New Year , a few of us would be performing the Chinese Ribbon Dance in church . Yes you heard me right! C-H-I-N-E-S-E R-I-B-B-O-N D-A-N-C-E. I know that most girl dance it but i doesn't have to be feminine unless you start doing the graceful hand movement and sliding your legs. We're doing kung-fu style .Hehe. Anyway, spinning the ribbon is hard work. It's not easy to twirl the ribbon of about 12 feet for 5 minutes. My arms are sore and i actually develop muscles. YES, Muscles. Most people thing that it is easy but it is not at all. The angle and speed +jumping here and there it really hurts and drain your energy.

You must be asking why i am learning it?
Because is love to dance and want to learn all the dances i can know of.

This post is pretty lo-so . Yeah i'm bored. So now, back to photoshopping.
Tata......

BuSy, BuSy, BuSiNeSs...........

Hi, i finally found time to blog again . Yeah i know i haven't been blogging for more than a year now and i owe u readers out there at least a post this week. Ever since i finished SPM, i thought i would be free enough to blog BUT NO! more things for me to do in the end.

Currently my projects are:
1. Design a pamphlet/flyers for an upcoming June event in my church
2 A promotional video
3. And church newsletter.
4. Slurpee Cup-Design competition?

About the slurpee thing, i'm not very sure whether i'll be entering it but i really do want the Ipod Shuffle. The only drawback is that u have to draw and colour on the form and scan it. But the thing is that want to use photoshop and those neon colours for my design which is impossible. Oh well i might have to think of another design then or maybe not- busy enough already. Hey Loung Huey, maybe this is a great way to promote your tigera? Winner's cup will be used for a limited edition 2008 slurpee cup leh+ ipod shuffle (which i doubt you'll be interested). Go check out pepsi malaysia to those peeps who wanna join.

This month i probably gonna continue my dance class and maybe driving. The list of work and things to do are adding up like a mountain. I'm not exaggerating. I'm also my sisters "tuition teacher" since she never go for tuition class.

Anyway, this blog layout it just temporary and i'll be editing the template soon when i have find time. I just need help with photoshop. Anyone please help me!!!!!!

The problem is : I cannot see my text when i use the type tool in photoshop. BUT the new layer formed has and confirms that the text is on the picture. WHY???? I can't see anything at all. Its invisible. Kapish!

Meanwhile, just enjoy my abstinence from blogging while i get back to my work......
sigh~

Water,Balloons,Food,Friends=Fun+Mess

*photos are shrink to be made viewable*

Yesterday was the most fun party i ever went to. Actually the party was planned many week before. It was suppose to be Kathryn's Belated Birthday Party but in the end they also decided to fit Kimberley into the surprise too. It was indeed a surprise for Kimberley as she was one of the organisers doing it.Anyway here's the party line up in chronoligical order.

I car pooled with Crystal as i didn't know Florence's house address. Oh yah b4 that, i was making sherperd's pie(our family's trademark) for the party(pot bless style). Crystal made mashed potato. I think she was jealous or what. Haha coz i'm better than her in cooking.*snickers* So when ppl ask her what she brings she'll keep on promoting her mashed potato.

*mimicking*
Crystal: Oh i brought mashed potato. It got ham, eggs, mayonaise..... ham, eggs and mayonaise...ham,eggs, and mayonaise.....and oh yah! Mashed potato.

haha............

So we arrived at Florence house a about 6.00pm ++ Ahma was already there helping ther others. Kimberley and Karen were already helping decorating the place with balloons and paper. Ahma was wanting to BBQ her chicken pieces. So as a *cough cough* che che(sister) she asked me to help her cook lor. You must be wondering why they call me chec he(sister) . It is because i can cook, sew, and dance.sigh...Well the fire was too big so the chicken was practically almost burnt. That Ahma also so slowly berjalan ambil pinggan. Lenggang here and there. In the end the chicken also kena bakar. After that Ahma don't want to eat liao. Wasting my effort nia. Btw, the chicken was tasty leh , so juicy. Florence bought a paintbrush to spread the honey on the chicken. Ewwwwwwwwww......so low tech leh. I was practically spending my time cooking the chicken wings while Kimberley was fanning the charcoals ( a little too efficient) . Crystal spoilt amost a whole batch of honeyed hot dogs. Tsk tsk....

Thanks to Florence, i was introduced to so many ppl as Anders che che. Is it so hard to add another "ng" to the back. Oh cannot also hor, if not ppl think i'm dead. Anyway, Edmond took over Crystal place in BBQ-ing the hot dogs. Much much better job. Edmond keep on saying to me gay-ishly to pass the honey. He'll say Honey, pass me the honey. Give me the shivers only. Haha. I think we only start eating at 7pm++. A lot of the AJK prefects were there too. I especially love the drinks coz it is so nice. I love the chicken wings too.Haha.......

Me BBQ-ing

So i ate dinner in the sitting room watching "Snakes ON Plane". Crystal,Kathryn, and somebody(i forgotten) keep on screaming for no reason. So geram....cannot eat in peace. Florence was making everybody laugh with her contagious laughter.

Florence quickly went behind to surprise the two b'day girls , Kathryn and Kimberley. Here are some Pics:

The bakers Spelt her name wrongly......

The two b'day girls.....

Us eating...........

So after being fed to the brim of my stomache. I went out to continue BBQ-ing the chicken wings. Suddenly scream could be heard. It was Florence smearing the icing from the cake on Kathryn and the others. Good thing i didn't get it. After some time, the real war happened. Someone started throwing water balloons which Florence had prepared earlier on. My goodness almost everyone was wet except those at the BBQ set and in the sitting room. Ahma terkena and she got so mad. She used the Aircon water (which was collecter in the bucket) and threw it towards Kathryn and Kimberley i think. Boy, they used water hoses, pails and all kinds to wet each other.

I felt relieved coz i was at the BBQ set still BBQ-ing the chickens. then this Florence shouted:
ANDERS CHE CHE STILL HAVEN'T GOT WET
Walau eh! I was so scared. For a moment i knew none was going to attacked me. But suddenly got shadow behind me. I turned around it was Jackie:

He was holding a water balloon. I said No! I don't want to get wet. He said nvm lah since it is only once in a year. As a smart science student, i quickly took his balloon and threw it outside so i can run into the sitting room. But too bad, they had reinforcements. Kimberley and Kathryn u're so gonna pay(including Ahma). Arggggggggggh! i was wet. I went out for revenge. Using only one ONLY ONE balloon i sprayed everybody with water. I didn't tie my balloon up. I filled it and then i squeeze the ballloon to realase a spray of water. After minutes or war and fun, the ppl in the living room didn't get free. They were dragged out from the room and we spray them too.HAhaha.....

Group photo: My eyes were full of water.......

well i think i went back around ten thirty. Boy, what a fun party......

That's RIGHT it is BALLROOM DANCING!!!!!

Yeah, you heard me right. I'm going for ballroom lessons every tuesday and thursday night. So fun leh. Yesterday we had our first ballroom lesson.Though the steps are simple it is the style, footing, techinque and posture that makes the difference in the dancing. I'm gonna be the best in the ballroom dancing liao (hehe). I really like it i donno why. For you perverts out there it is not the *touching touching* that i like okay!!! It's hard you know to create a chemistry between a couple even they do not know each other well. That's the challenge. To dance with someone just like that and create a blast. Anyway, my partner is my sister, so no worries.Hehe
I purposely brought her coz u know lah....Don't want to that one that one..

Yesterday we just learn the basic for whole two hours.Though is kind of boring(only one step mar) it is Really a good practice. But the thing is i'm so used to line dancing so the technique is a little bit off. But no worries i can adapt quickly..Oh yah hor! i forgot to tell you what dance i learnt. Well ballroom is divided into two categories:
a)Ballroom(so ironic)
b)Latin
We are learning the Latin section coz it is more energetic and challenging which i love of course. And under Latin there is subdivisions again. So the first dance we learnt is the ChaCha or Cha-Cha.I have to practice for tomorrow again....

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIBAAAAAAAAA!
anyone who wants to learn ballroom can contact me......
it's free of charge...........

Children's Camp

PHEW!!!!!!!!!! Finally the children's camp is over. SO darn tired after taking care of the kids and helping them. But i had fun though. Sorry to all my blog readers out there because i didn't update for so long. The children's camp was held yesterday and today. I couldn't make it yesterday because of my computer exams (UBS accounting and HTML). I was pleased with my exam work. I manage to finish on time. Should i make a web for EMBACY and youth updates???Daniel Should I????

Anyway back to the camp. This year there was no sleepover :( .Sigh~ i miss those fun time as child. Well i must say this batch of children was the most behave. My duty this time was to be in charge of photography and doing the slides. I LOVE my job. I don't know why i love to mess around with computers. Maybe this is a sign from God???? Who knows......

Today it started out with some devotion lead by the teacher. I wasn't helping during that time because i was doing the slides and choosing the songs.(*snickers* I CAN BE YOUR FRIEND!la la la la la~). After that it was tea break. Yummy ~ i love the sandwiches......... Succulent tender scrambled eggs, with drips of slurpy mayonaise, ever smooth butter and grated to "perfecto" carrots.....(my saliva is running down now). Then they had a time of praise and worship which was fun with all the action songs. The children loved it a lot.

No camp would be complete without the sharing of God's word. Today was their last lesson and it was on thoughtfulness. Surprisingly, all the songs i chose was in the message of aunty Emily(speaker). She taught some interesting facts about penguins. The mother penguin has to quickly but carefully pass the egg to the father egg penguin if not the egg would freeze in three seconds due to the cold weather. IF the egg rolled away, the egg would have died and turn black. She showed us some videos whereby the wind was so strong and some father penguins fall over and the eggs rolled away. You can actually see the sad expression on the penguin faces.

After that did u know where we went for lunch???

HARTZ CHICKEN(satok branch)
Delicous leh.............hehe
You all must be jealous. I strongly recommend this branch because the food are much nicer and better compared to the one in S'wak Plaza. Here are some photos we took over there.

Daniel and Doron murdering a watermelon skin

Daniel being "thoughtful" mother towards Wilson.

Charissa murdering Daniel because he murdered her watermelon

Having tummy aches after all the meals.....haha

Well after the scrumptous meal, we went back to church. We did face painting..........0o0o0oh i just love painting. haha~ i did my sister's face and crystal was so jealous(haha).........I also did TJ's face. He wanted to be a lion but then there wasn't any orange so we had to make him look like a tiger instead. My sis was a butterfly. After that i showed my video, i say it was really funny. GOOD JOB Daniel >You were so funny. I shall upload the video by tomorrow hopefully so that my viewers can see......haha

And we sang the theme song and the "thankfulness song".........Speaking of thankfulness did anyone(in the camp) realise that ur shirts were short of one "s" on the word "thankfulness". HAHA .....you ppl should sue the company leh.......
We take somemore photos and we had to go liao. Kinda miss it too.......well always a next time.

BY the way, youth was awesome last night. During the ending, ppl were just set free and i personally ask God that i wanted to meet him. I wasn't seeking for any manifestation. I was seeking to meet God himself. I tell you. I felt him, i heard him, i was IN him. I just felt the wave so strong. I was going though some puzzlements and i had planned to solved them myself. BUT God told me not to. HE asked me to rely on him and he will do the rest. He asked me to rest. My goodness, the burden was lifted up in that instance. And indeed i can testify that the puzzlements was solved today in church. Thank God!!!!!

I also had a strange dream last night too(after youth), i dreamt that i had a brain surgery. I remembered i was diagnosed with brain tumour. I was depressed, emotional and etc. I entered a stadium full of people. It was a christian meeting. On the stage was a christian brain surgeon and i remembered he was preaching when he suddenly called out my name. He wanted to operate on me. My dad was nearby though. He put this platic cap on me and he began to cut my skull using scissors. I can actually feel the scissors cutting but it wasn't painful at all. He pluck out the tumour and then sew back my head or skull. He told my dad after it was healed. He would pull out the thread. He says that it was going to be a painful process taking out the thread. Kind of gross.

But then i began to ponder about it since it was so real the dream:

1. I felt so free after the dream.
2. It sticks to my mind

So i thought it must be God trying to say something. I learnt three things:

1.It is God renewing my mind.
2. It is God removing my past things i have hidden in my heart(brain).
3. God is teaching about hurts which i have experience recently. You see, God begans healing you is an easy process for him. It might be a painful/or even not in my case when he "operates" on you. But once you're completely healed, he would have to remove the "thread" which was used to sewed up "those broken parts of your heart". It would be a painful process indeed. You might asked God WHY? WHY bring up those hurts again? WHY are u reminding me again about those hurts? Don't you know it is painful?" Well i just want to say, God does that to ensure you have a complete healing. Don't tell me u see a healed person with thread still sewn on on their bodies. Of course the doctor has to remove those thread. Though it is painful it is for a good cause.Hope it will encourage you........

Signing out...............

Dedication to Grandmas.............

*warning very long post*

A GRANMOTHER'S LOVE

A Grandmother's love is like no other.
It is even greater than a mother's
because a grandmother has the greater suffer.
And she will always be the one who is tougher.

A grandmother's love is like no other's.
It's even greater when you have no sister's or brother's.
She helps you when your feelings are a twister.
And she will calm you soon when there are mister's.

A grandmother's love can never be broken.
And she is a woman who can never be out spoken.
You will have all these gifts that where tokens of her love.
Her love is a choice it's not just because your there.

You know that she would never hurt you, not a single hair.
Everytime she's around you she tries her hardest to never swear.

*sob, what a touching poem*

Yah, i was very busy this week so i couldn't blog about anything. For those who didn't know, my grandmother(paternal) passsed away on the fateful day, 13th August 2006. To me, my
grandmother is closer to me to my other grandma(maternal) although i visit the one on my maternal side more. When i was young, i remembered that i was really cared over by her. She would cook lunch and embraced me when i returned after my kindergarten schooling. She also loves to make me drink honey ( maybe that's the reason.ehehhehe). When i sleep, she would caress my head gently while rubbing my hair. I really miss those loving touches from her. Somehow, she also loves to rub her hand on my arms too. Little did I know my grandmother was gonna pass away so soon.

On that fateful night, i was at home getting ready to sleep when suddenly my parents told me that my grandma passed away. Earlier that morning i knew she had a coma but i thought comas usually take a long time to recover so i need not to worry about visiting her. But i was proved wrong. Anyway, my father and mother couldn't reach there yet coz my aunty was at the airport and needs transport. My grandmother died in a way that one would want to died in that way(read slowly~haha). At the hospital bed, Aunty Siew Ling and Aunty Mary Hiu who are both from the chinese church came for a visit. Both of them are very close to my grandma though their age gap was so far apart. Weeks ago, i was told that both of them laid beside my grandma and talk to her. Like a mother and daughter. Back to the story, both of them sang " kan guo eh chiew" which means 'look at my hands' (God's hands). After the song, my grandma got into a seizure and then died peacefully........

Well ppl from all over Kuching visited us the following night. I wasn't sad actually coz i know my grandma would be in Heaven. But on the funeral day, i did cried reminiscing the moments i had with her. The chinese songs were very touching too. Nevertheless, i could recover quickly coz i know i need not to worry about dying. Death is just a short-stop before you go to heaven. I know and have the assurance that my grandma is in Heaven. It is not for long my whole family will be seeing her in heaven.

Anyway, here's a Eulogy about my grandma which was spoken by my Dad on the Funeral day........

Eulogy

Good afternoon , friends and relatives, brothers and sisters in Christ. Firstly, I want to thank you all for taking your precious time today to commemorate my mother’s life with us.

Thank you so much for your love, encouragement and support. We are so thankful we are knitted together in the Big family of God.

There is so much to say about my mother. How can I do it in 10 or 15 mins? Most of you may not know this- she is my step mother. My own natural mother died when I was about 5 years of age.

Even though she was my stepmother, she lovingly took care of us as her own children. Her own natural son is Cheng Lee Ming. If you ask me what is the one thing that I want to remember about her, I would say this: Her sacrificial love for all of us. I will always treasure her love and I believe my sister and brother would agree with me too.

We didn’t come from a very well to do family. She had to help to supplement the household income by taking extra jobs such as washing clothes for people and also peeling prawn shells.

Some of us here might have eaten prawn crackers at Rex Theatre coffee shops many years back. Who knows? Those peeled prawn could be the ones that had their shell removed by my mother.

I believed the most joyous time for her was after she became a Christian. She found her hope in Christ and was able to unload her burdens to Him.

Even though, she was stricken with a number of illness, she always find her strength in worshipping the Lord. She loves to worship the Lord together with the uncles and aunties from our Hokkien church. Her favorite song is Chin Jia Ho and Shang Ti She Wo men De Bi Nan Shuo.

She often requested me to bring her to the Hokkien church. Even when she was very weak in her last lap of her life, she managed to have two memorable worship time with the Hokkien brethren.

Many brothers and sisters had come alongside to encourage and ministered to my mother. We treasure all your prayers and your helps to us in one way or another.

We want to especially acknowledge two sisters in Christ who sacrificed so much of their time for her. They had become her special friends and “daughters” in the last days of her life. They are Sister Siew Ling and Sister Mary Hiu. Praise God for their ministry.

The Lord has also open doors for them to minister to some old folks in the Lions Nursing Home. A number of them has come to know the Lord.

My mum was prepared to meet with her Savior. She was not afraid dying. As a believer, she knew she would live again because Jesus Christ said that He is the Resurrection and the Life. Death is just a temporary separation. We will see her again when we meet her in heaven.

Talking about going home to be with the Lord, Mum and I prayed a number of time for this matter. One time she had a dream. She dreamt she was following behind a man dressed in white but the man told her not to follow her and then gave her a kick. She began to fall into a deep hole and then she found herself back on the hospital bed.

On Sunday 13th August 2006, as I was about to wake up from my sleep, I had a vision of my mum smiling and waving goodbye to me. Then during the English service time I received a call from the Nursing home that my mum was in coma and needed to be hospitalized. She passed away peacefully at 10.15pm.

We would like to thank everybody for your presence here with us. We pray the Lord Jesus Christ will reveal more and more of Himself to you. May you find the eternal life in God promised to everyone through Jesus Christ.

In the midst of everything that goes by so so fast, the Lord knows best. May He be the comfort of yr heart and bringing peace to you. He knows everything and all the timing. There’s seasons of everything, grow, stagnant, declining, wither, regardless, He is still our strong tower and refuge.

Nice right????
Anyway, it was really a "silver lining in every dark cloud" . From the death of my grandme, finally my aunty accepted Jesus Christ into her life.

Praise JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed

Haih today was really disappointing..........

We prepared a drama for the "Malam Tiong Hwa" which falls on the August 4th and 5th. Our drama was entitled " Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai in the modern age version". Well, i've to admit our drama ws messy due to the lack of practice(only practice once) but it was funny. The audience laugh too but according to the teacher, it wasn't "tiong hwa-ish" or oriental enough for the concert. I mean it is so silly, three malay teachers and one bumiputera, thay can't even understand mandarin and yet they even know how to judge......so geram. Make me so tired for nothing. So yeah................ it is off.............

Forgot to tell you guys hor!!!!!! I'm finally a PREFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why i say so???

You know what beside doing the drama i have to carry (with help of course) 90 chairs down the stage and up again after the rehearsal. Have to drink Anlene to repair my back............

Ps: i was in Watson's BDC and guess what i found. A tomato twisties.......
You may wonder what's wrong with tomato flavoured twisty right????
Well i got a shock when i glimpse at it ; in conjunction with the World Cup, it was placed there a logo........ Compatible with BRA!!!!!!!!
I was like BRA!!!!!!!! What in the world.................
Then it don on me, the logo was Brazil's flag.............*smacks head*
So Misleading..............

Sarawak Level Brass Band Competition

Walter: What Road?!!!
Us: GREEN ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walter: Ha Mik Lo?!!!! (HOKKIEN)
uS: CHE-CAU LO!!!!!!
Walter: Yenna Road?!!!!!!(TAMIL)
US: PACHE ROAD

Those were the chant we said for our school Brass Band. Yup you heard me right, i went for the Sarawak State Level brass band competition.

Me and my friends left school at about 7.30 on a air-con bus. We reached there at about 8 something. We quickly sat down at allocated charis for our school. And you know the irony thing that happened?, i forgot my batteries for my camera!!!!!!!!!(due to something.....don't want to talk about it). We could see most of the band members at the opposite side. So we shouted the chant. They were so happy. Later that morning they said they were very encouraged and they felt very professional so they did their best performance.

This year the competing bands are St.Joseph Kuching, Chung Hwa Miri, Smk Green Road (my school), and last but not least, St.Joseph Miri. All the bands were very good except St.Joseph Kuching who lacked something in their performance. I think is due to the hectic schedule for the competition and concert. I was surprised with Green Road and St.joseph Miri; the music quality and formation increased dramtically. To me, the four bands have reached the national level quality. Wait for years to come........surely Green Road will have a chance to represent Sarawak.

Well when it was our turn, we had the euphoria atmosphere and we shouted the Chant again and this time we also did the mexican wave. I think we're the most active supporters in the staidum. We banged bottles too to boost up the confidence aomong the Band Members. I like the performance but we could have got second place if not for the messy footwork. Not bad lar, because 80% are new recruits. And they didn't really practice so well for it. The formation was very good, superb. Good job catherine........

The results are:

1st
- SMK St. Joseph, Kuching
2nd- SMK Chung Hwa, Miri
3rd - SMK Green Road, Kuching

Best Drum Major :
SMK Chung Hwa, Miri
Band Berharapan : SMK St. Joseph, Kuching
Best Uniform : Smk St.Joseph, Kuching

Well i'm proud of the Greenians who perform. I do wish i can go back to band. Next time, next time.........i shall come back to school and help them once more. As a teacher or sponsor..........I love you ppl!!!!!!!!!
